Mobile Application Developer

Job description / Role

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Mobile Application Developer to be part of a small, distributed team providing high-quality IT supports services.

You will work as part of an in-house team responsible for the design, development and implementation of the company's core mobile applications. This position will be reporting to Application Development Manager.

Job responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and optimize improvements to apps and internal tools.
- Develop and provide technical design services for enhancements to the Mobile Application across iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms.
- Provide input to build artifacts such as technical designs, security and audit logging plans, and solution architecture.
- Demonstrate a level of technical understanding to ensure a comprehensive and relevant solution for each technical change or enhancement.
- Provide input and assist with the development of automated testing scripts and testing processes.
- Work closely on mobile software, design and testing to enhance the user experience .

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years experience in developing mobile applications.
- Experience writing robust and responsive apps backed by web APIs .
- Detailed knowledge of Android and IOS development, including the fragment/activity lifecycle, networking, relevant design patterns and popular frameworks.
- A strong understanding of the principles of software design, architecture, algorithms and data structures.
- A good understanding of how to write clean code.
- Graduate degree in computer engineering/science.

Core Technical Skills:
- Platform: Android, IOS and Windows
- Databases: Oracle & SQL Server database
- Design, develop, and optimize improvements on mobile apps.
- Web Services Standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL, UDDI) and APIs.
- Experience with standard internet protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, POP, FTP, SMTP, HTML5, Java and or Objective C.
