Atkins has recently secured several large projects in the Middle East. As a result, we are looking for an experienced Mobilisation/HR Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and rapidly developing business enabling Atkins to achieve its ambitious growth targets.

Reporting directly to the Mobilisation Director or HR Director on a business opportunity basis your core responsibilities will vary but will include:

· Ensure business critical issues pertaining to successful Mobilisation are addressed and managed
· Provide comprehensive advice and deliver successful Mobilisation and integration in the Middle East
· Exert and influence changes of behaviors to better support the business strategy
· Produce, implement and monitor Mobilisation/HR strategies
· Manage and contribute to the wider Middle East business including bid preparation and client engagement
· Deliver a comprehensive range of HR services to the business and work within Middle East HR Policy to engender a Middle East identity
· As a member of the Management team, ensure that the HR, Mobilisation and People agenda is given consideration in business planning and decision making
· Work closely with business heads to convert HR and Mobilisation plans to actions and deliver to meet needs
· Proactively manage employee relations issues to enhance the employer/employee relationship
· Work closely with the Regional Centres of Expertise to deliver in depth specialist services
· Establish a reputation for being credible, reliable and for getting things done

Requirements

Core Requirements:

· Degree qualified
· Experience in planning, managing and successfully delivering large complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
· Experience of working effectively in a multi-cultural environment
· Ability to manage multiple Mobilisations across geographically dispersed locations
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
· Resilient and tenacious with the ability to work under pressure
· Driven to succeed, highly organised, with the ability to identify and focus on business priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
· Strong influencing skills, can build effective relationships with key stakeholders
· Confident, diplomatic and tactful – demonstrating high levels of confidentiality
· Proficient in the use of spreadsheet, database and word processing packages such as Word and Excel
· Willingness to travel as needed to ensure successful mobilisation of resource and infrastructure
