The RoleThe Role Pivotal large scale projects Global Provider of national security Location: United Arab Emirates As the portfolio of infrastructure/civil projects across the Middle East continues to expand, so too does our employer, one of the fastest growing public safety and security solutions organisations globally. Our client is now looking to recruit a qualified and experienced IT / DRP Expert to their UAE team, to support their main projects in the region, which include the implementation of advanced integrated security solutions for critical assets, safe city and border protection. Reporting to the Data Center Manager and working as a key member of the Maintenance team, your responsibilities in the role will include: Configuration of Maintenance & Control tools including inspections and improvements capabilities and analysis of sensors, communication devices, servers, processes, storage, DB, facility infrastructure systems and applications Implementation and support of tool usage Development of scripts and solutions for monitoring Develop and enhance reports for the different teams Reduce false alarms Support alert analysis to establish the root cause Administration of the M&C tool (security definitions, users, classifications, parameters etc) |
RequirementsRequirementsEssential Attributes include: Degree qualified in Computer Science or other relevant field with Masters degree being highly regarded Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role with expertise in different technologies (Network, Storage, Systems, Security) and Integration Certification in ITIL, Enterprise System Management Tool, Windows / Unix Technology (MCSE, Redhat etc) Previous experience in deployment of Enterprise system deployment and management tools in large infrastructure environment In depth understanding of monitoring / management implementation tools (Altris, Entuity, CiscoWorks, Eye of the Storm, BMP ProActiveNet) Expert knowledge in ITSM suite installation and configuration; BMC Change Management, Dashboard and Analytics, Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping Expert knowledge in Remedy development / Administration / Developer Studio Expert knowledge in CMDB installation and configuration Excellent English language skills are essential, with Arabic language skills being highly regarded A competitive expatriate package will be provided to attract top candidates to this role.
