Our client is a global leading FMCG company, who is recruiting a Musketeer to join their team in Bahrain.

Main purpose of a Musketeers is to increase profitable market shares, build strong relationships of co-operation and partnership with the trade and all on-premise customers through quality, reliability and value adding service
Ensure effective management of all strategic partners while maintaining excellent business relations. Ensuring On-premise outlet staff present the product as per Entity standards and guidelines. Fully support the Trade Marketing strategy to secure leadership brand position across trade channels

Responsibilities:
- Ensure a state of the art visibility in all on-premise trade outlets and on-premise events.
- Secure a proper implementation of the exclusivity/preferred or other customer contracts. This includes mini-bar listing and menu printings, product availability and adequate visibility in all outlets within outlets.
- Recommend, plan and secure outstanding execution of events at customers locations and events.
- Train the On-premise outlet staff on the product, benefits and the correct methods for product serving and merchandising
- Secure the proper usage of POSM material as per Entity standards and guidelines; this includes delivery, installation, removal and/or regular maintenance.
- Recommend widening the distribution/open new outlets, and gain new on-premise customers.
- Inform immediately the Reporting Manager and distribution partner team whenever any outlet is out of stock.
- Submit necessary reports (daily/weekly/monthly), meet deadlines and abide by the route plans.
- Work closely (meetings, share learnings, aligning plans, inputs, etc.) with the sales & distribution team and the Entity sampling team.

Requirements

- All targets as agreed are delivered e.g. number of contracts / number of initiatives
- Entity standards are met at all outlets e.g. availability and visibility
- All the On-Premise outlet staff are competent and meet Entity standards
- Relationships with the trade are strong and effective
- All reports are comprehensive, complete, accurate and on time
- Innovative ideas and outstanding execution of events have enhanced the brand image

Criteria:
- As the ambassador for this premium brand it is essential to have a passion for the brand, strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, with an entrepreneurial can-do attitude
- Enjoys challenges and is eager to invest efforts in learning & promoting the brand
- High energy and enthusiasm to visit various outlets and at different times as required; to monitor, get feedback and interact with the trade
- Clear understanding of the trade network, knowledge of the activity hubs and On Premise scene, especially in his/her market
- Strong analytical ability, creative and aware of the culture / customs of the region
- High standard of integrity, ability to focus and follow through on priorities and deliver quality results
- A team player who is reliable, confident and has strong communication skills
- Fluency in spoken & written English and also spoken Arabic is a prerequisite (TBA depending on region).
- Comfortable in a fast paced, performance oriented environment
- Strong planning and organizing skills , with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Minimum 3 years experience in handling the consumer marketing of a blue chip FMCG product, preferably with the HORECA channel
- Computer literacy and a valid driving license is mandatory (TBA depending on region)
- Preferred age range of 24-27 years old
- Ideal applicants either reside in Bahrain or previous experience of working in Bahrain
- Ideally Arabic speaker
