Job description / Role
- As a technical leader in piping engineering and leak testing, the Piping & Leak test engineer will provide expertise during the completions, pre-commissioning and commissioning works
- Provide a technical assessment of piping systems internal condition and the Leak Testing requirements for the identified critical piping systems to ensure subsequent decisions are well founded
- Coordinate the technical preparation for the Leak Testing activities and be the referent for all leak testing issues
- Coordinate the preparation and review of the technical documentation
- Monitor on daily basis all Leak Testing activities performed
- Ensuring that Testing activities are performed as per technical requirements
- Assisting mechanical completion and pre-commissioning teams by providing discipline expertise in relation with hydro-testing, chemical cleaning, hot oil flushing of piping systems and with critical flanges and connections integrity management.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering or other relevant diploma
- Knowledge of Pipeline Pre commissioning process and operations.
- Minimum 10 years industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience in N2He Leak Detection, Flange Management and Bolt Tensioning.
