Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As an Operations Engineer you will be working within our Natural Gas division. Responsibilities involve;
- Ensuring safe and smooth operation of CNG facilities in filling stations and providing technical support to all concerned parties for optimum performance of equipment. Planning, organising and supervising Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for all Natural Gas equipment including compressors, dispensers and network installations.
- Acting as an Authorising Engineer for ADNOC NGV activities and taking part in the development of non-routine live gas operational procedures and providing support during emergency response situations.
- Analysing abnormal conditions or shutdowns of CNG facilities and coordinating with concerned parties to identify and investigate the causes, suggesting effective solutions and putting together reports for corrective action.
- Preparing reports and presentations and producing performance measurement tools to monitor performance of CNG facilities. Managing the transfer of CNG bulk from mother to daughter stations on a daily basis.
- Preparing and implementing work procedures in liaison with ADNOC Distributions relevant divisions and consultants to cover construction and commissioning activities of Natural Gas projects.
- Organising and participating in NG projects construction audits on Contractors as required ensuring their compliance with requirements.
- Conducting site training and awareness sessions to CNG filling station and ADNOC NGV staff. Participating in project reviews such as HAZOP, HSEIA, HAZID and Risk Assessments etc.

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering.
- At least 5-7 years O&M experience with rotating equipments & reciprocating compressors.
- At least 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Good computing skills.
- Strong communication and English language skills.
- Must have strong planning, problem solving and decision making ability.
