Oman Marketing and Services Company (Omasco) is a leading trading, property and financial services business in Oman with key activities in automotive, marine, electronics, projects and engineering, industrial products and other services.  Established in 1974, the company represents leading world-renowned brands and strives to be one of the most respected companies in Oman.We are currently looking to recruit a National Parts Manager for the Honda Operations in Oman.

The main job responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

Ensure that the Spare Parts Department achieves target objectives by ongoing (period by period) examination of accounts, daily & weekly operating controls, system information, industry reports and public domain information and manufacturer's composite figures (monthly).

Responsible for all the spare parts branches and body shop.

Preparation and execution of Business Plans for the Parts Departments by ensuring that these plans set operating and personnel costs and include forecasts of parts sales and management of direct costs.

Organize, direct and manage the activities of all staff at the Spare Parts Departments in order to achieve financial goals via making optimal use of all materials,money and manpower
Participate in preparation of all operational regulations and procedures by ensuring that all operations deliver results in a smooth and timely manner.

Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop,and the walk in customer.

Establish individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover to minimize obsolescence.

Set and enforce a policy on the special ordering of parts.

Work with the service manager & body shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.

Ensure that the customer database CRM is updated and cleansed as necessary.

Design, evaluate and initiate, marketing plans within agreed budgets.

Requirements

To be successfully considered for the above position, candidates will possess the following attributes, knowledge and competencies:

- At least 10 years overall experience in same field.
- Business or Engineering degree.
- Sound financial skills.
- DMS software knowledge.
- Good knowledge of manufacture warranty standards & procedures.
- Time Management skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage the parts operations cycles, maintaining a speedy and efficient supply cycle, monitor and minimize the inventory.
- MS Office skills.
- Automobile Parts Specialist.
- Ability to lead change processes.
