National Sales Manager - Construction Equipment - FAMCO

About the Job:
The National Sales Manager for the Construction Equipment, will be responsible for selling products by implementing sales plans and supervising Sales staff (10 direct reportees).

Other Responsibilities:
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by territory forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans. Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
- Gross Margin/ ROI with Maximizing Inventory Turns
- Responsible for achieving Sales department budget

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Managing sales teams daily activities.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on all work results.
- Lead, control the sales operations nationally to ensure, achievement of budgeted sales, gross margins, and net contribution.
- Strategy:Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all CE products.
- New Business development: Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

JOB CONTEXT:
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
- Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
- Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales, new account growth, profitability, presentation strategies, and competitive strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications:
- An Engineering University degree holder

Key Competencies:
- 10 years of experience in selling Construction Equipment Products.
- At least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Good knowledge of the Construction Equipment industry.
- Experience in the UAE is an advantage.
- Financial knowledge
- Fluent in English Language
