Reporting to the Divisional Manager, The National Sales Managers' role is to develop and maintain FAMCO's market share in the Power & Air Solutions Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

* To lead a team of 11 Sales Engineers who are handling two different areas (Generators & Air Compressors), brands and markets.
* Identify and develop new sales accounts leading to the implementation and delivery of the annual business KPIs.
* Managing sales teams' daily activities and provide sales reports reflecting the productivity.
To ensure compliancy with FAMCO systems.
* Providing appropriate plans in order to achieve the required budgets (sales figures); achieving unit sales budgets and achieving gross margin.
* Following the company's growth strategy, ensuring that the required growth percentage had been met.
* Adding new business channels for the Yanmar generator sets in Africa and building a strong data base for the generator sets & air compressor business in the local market.
* Monitoring customer satisfaction by assuring to provide them with the required solutions at the right time.
* To ensure the receivables are collected as per company policy.

Requirements

* A qualified Degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
* Good working knowledge of the Generator & Air Compressor business - ideally 10 years of experience in selling industrial products (power generators & air compressors).
* A minimum of 4 years management experience handling at least 4/5 staff members (direct reports).

* Financial Knowledge - advance knowledge and experience dealing with management reports.
* Self-motivated and aggressive, with the ability to handle pressure and meet agreed sales targets.
* Highly presentable, self-starter and goal oriented.
* Ability to manage a team of 11 individuals from a multinational environment; co-operative team player.
* Ability to build relations with key clients with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
* Independent individual who can work with minimum supervision.
* UAE experience; Experience with African markets would be highly desirable.
