The Role


• To build and lead a team of professional Sales Managers/Executives to drive the retail mortgage business of the bank. Achievement orientation would be the key to success.
• Design market plans and implement with precision to achieve business targets.
• Identify business opportunities in the market place in terms of products, segments, channels and translate them into profitable business.
• To be a perfect conduit for market feedback and design projects with internal customers to ensure new processes is part of the system.
• Drive customer service standards and set a benchmark for the industry.
• Ensure systems and process are adhered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment of staff and developing leaders in the team to have system driven teams.
• Set targets and achieve business volumes as per target channel wise, segment wise, product wise– to be conscious in achieving on all parameters of volume/productivity/cost/fee.
• Monitor leads, approval process and execution of contract on daily basis and provide daily MIS Kindom wide as end of day exercise.
• Design and execute cross-selling campaigns, account acquisitions and account retention programs.
• Manage the process of communication and setting targets for product launches for the distribution networks.
• Key Account Management of the various channels of distribution. Set target for number of preferred relationship with Developers, RE offices, franchisees.
• Identify alternative channels of distribution – traditional and e-channels & others if any and increase the penetration in the market place.
• Design and Manage Sales promotion program for the sales team and channel partners.
• Process improvements on continuous basis to improve speed & customer service
• Evaluate sales and service targets for the distribution networks.
• Plan training programs for the team. Increase sales staff capability and reduce customer attrition.
• Customer service – Excel as a team in service level guarantees set for the product and raise the bar of customer satisfaction index as per the review period.

Ideal Profile:

• Candidate should be graduate/post-graduate degree from a reputable institution.
• MBA or Diploma in Management/ Marketing would be an added advantage.
• 8+ years of experience in FMCG, Insurance, Real Estate or finance or retail banking would be an added advantage.
• Should have strong decision making process.
• Ability to analysis systems, procedures and products and suggest improvements.
• Good interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills.
• Lateral thinking.
• Knowledge of Office Automation tools, e.g. MS Office, etc
• English language proficiency.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and commit to deadlines.
