Nautical Superintendent

Job description / Role

Our client, a renowned UAE company providing services to the Offshore Oil and Gas Industries and Offshore Marine Construction Companies, is looking for a :

NAUTICAL SUPERINTENDENT

The primary role will be to vet Officer Candidates, verify certificates, interview candidates, approve appointments and evaluate skills and competency on arrival in UAE prior to being placed on any vessel. Coaching of existing Officers will also be required as will the competency assessment of serving Officers.

Secondary duties will be as Marine Superintendent, backing up the other Marine Superintendents and filling in for them for their annual vacations.

Requirements

Incumbent must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Master Unlimited working on Offshore Support Vessels with a good working knowledge of Anchor handling, Supply and Towing operations, preferably with experience in the UAE (ADMA & ZADCO Operating Standards).
