Job description / Role
Track24 is looking for a proven web developer with a strong background and passion for developing scalable, high quality and high performance web based application on the Microsoft Technology. The .Net developer will be responsible for developing innovative, reusable Web-based tools for Track24, working closely with our project managers, strategists and design team members to develop the requirement specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. This position requires development experiences with web based application user interface to build a highly interactive application. Open minded to learning new techniques, with ability to follow direction accurately.
Responsibilities
• Designing a billing system using ASP.net with the following modules: Quoting, Inventory, Usage Detail, and billing module.
• Work closely with Project Leaders and other members of the Development Team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Analyse business requirement and translate to technical requirement and as required define functional & design specifications.
• Determine appropriate architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendation.
• Communicate to the Project Leaders with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
• Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
• Development of robust and user-friendly .NET based web applications.
• Routine maintenance/further development of existing applications.
• Interact with QA team to design appropriate test harnesses and frameworks for the application layer.
Requirements
• BS in computer science or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
• 5 years minimum experience on the .NET platform, C# and ASP.NET.
• Proven .NET experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
• Deep knowledge and strong experience in database design, RDBMS and great ability to design and/or optimize SQL Server stored procedures.
• Designing and implementing web based GUIs using HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery.
• Strong ability to problem-solve and quickly identify problem resolution.
• Self-starter with strong self-management and communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
• Experience in financial/ERP system is an added advantage.
