Job description / Role
Taking a lead role to assist and provide support to the Network Inspection Manager to develop, implement and review the undertaking of all Asset Inspections on the agreed Highway Network or by the PWA in line with the agreed deliverables.
Tasks will include:
• Ensure accurate and effective collation of asset inspection data.
• Lead and Assist with undertaking asset inspections.
• Develop timely and accurate reports
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Assurance regulations and legislation.
• Identify training requirements and develop staff through training and mentoring.
• Undertake audits to ensure conformity to agreed processes and procedures.
• Assist with the establishment and implementation of a programme of inspections and investigations.
• Assist with project administration as required
• Record time accurately in project control systems
Requirements
Who we are looking for:
• Relevant Inspectors courses and qualifications, including defect identification, monitoring and recording
• Detailed Knowledge of highway asset inspections, planning, delivery and reporting.
• Experience in developing processes and procedures
• IT Literate
• Personal Highway Safety (PHS) certified
• CSCS touch screen health and safety (minimum)
• Full UK Driving Licence
