Network Engineer - Wireless

Job description / Role

Wireless Network Engineer should have thorough understanding, experience and troubleshooting on Layer2 to Layer 7 Technologies including but not limited to:

- Ethernet, Trunks, Spanning tree, VTP, VLAN, Etherchannels.
- Control Plan and Data plane traffics
- IPv4 and IPv6 and their related protocols, subnetting and IP designing
- HSPR, ARP Reverse ARP etc..
- Routing protocols, especially OSPF, IS-IS, EIGRP, some understanding of BGP
- Device hardening
- TCP and UDP
- Deep Packet Inspection techniques
- NAT, new NAT format in ASA
- MEC,VPC, VDC, FEX, Nexus will be desired

Requirements

Sound experience on:
- Cisco 6500, 7600, Access Switches, ISR Routers.
- Cisco Unified Wireless Network
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controller, Cisco Wireless Control System, Cisco Mobility Services Engine and WiSM
- Wireless Site Survey (Air Magnet etc)
- Indoor and Outdoor Access Points.
- Cisco Wireless, Network and Security Management Software
- Network/Handover Documentation
- Diagnose problems and solve issues, often under time constraints
- Perform wireless design and integration
- Willing and able to work on Wireless, Network and Security related Pre-Sale Requests.
- Willing to learn other domains like security, data center technologies and IP Telephony.

Certifications:
- CCNP Wireless / CCNP / CCIE
- CCNA Security / CCNP Security
- CCDP desirable
- Bluecoat BCCPA desirable BCCPP desirable
