Network Security Specialist

Job description / Role

Main duties:

You will ensure the smooth operation of the data network, design, install, maintain and support the LAN/WAN and VoIP infrastructure, create network documentation and have excellent administration and engineering of multiprotocol routers, switches and network security devices. You must have excellent technical skills including LAN/WAN protocols, switched Ethernet and VLAN technology, load balancers, Cisco switches and routers, PIX/ASA/Checkpoint firewalls and wireless experience. You should also ideally have experience of TCP/IP, converged networks, Ethernet, MPLS, DSL, ISDN and WAN optimisation.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of extensive working experience in implementing and maintaining wireless network structures
• Skills including Network Security, Routing/ Switching, VPN, setup and use of Cisco products, Wireless Technologies
• CCNP-Security and additional vendor certifications desirable
• Team player and attention to details
