Nurse (Female) for Home Based Care

Job description / Role

Taking care of patients in a home care setting.
To respect the rights of service users including privacy and dignity.
Assist patients to follow their treatment guidelines while out of the hospital
Convalescence care: Rehabilitation or convalescence following a hospital stay
Elderly care: Support following or during illness
Care for children: Specialist support for children and babies
Care for maternity patients at home
Giving bed bath and care.
To assist in the serving and clearing of meals, snacks and drinks.
To assist service users to eat and drink, monitoring intake
Suctioning, nebulizing and regulating IV fluid (when patient is with IV line).
Educating relatives about the patients care
Perform after care and provide total personal hygiene care
Check and records vital signs
Perform skin care and wound dressing
Maintain tidiness and orderliness of patients room and ensure safety of their environment all the times
Provide moral, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and significant others

9 or 12 hour shifts / 54 hours per week.
Free accommodation on single sharing basis and transport from and to place of work.

Requirements

Nursing qualification with a minimum of 3 years duration.
2 Years clinical experience post qualification.
Valid national license from home country
Valid BLS
Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
English proficiency
Candidates with UAE medical license or in process to apply for licensing will receive preference however candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
