Job description / Role
DUTY STATEMENT
Primary Purpose of Position
To provide occupational health (medical) services – on one of the onshore oil rig sites for an ERSME Ltd client based in the Kingdom.
Scope of Service Provided
1. Care Provided
Assessment, diagnosis, treatment of medical problems of varying complexity and
primary health teaching. Triage, life saving measures and referral or evacuation
to nearest in-patient facility.
2. Treatment
Includes, but is not limited to: medication, prescription and administration,
airway management, control of bleeding and immobilization techniques.
Basic simple diagnostic tests (finger sticks and dipsticks).
Drug Formulary and Treatment Guidelines must be made available and
followed at each clinic.
3. Eligibility of Care:
All employees belonging to contractor company.
General public or employee not belonging to contractor with potentially
serious or life threatening condition.
Administration
• Perform a range of administrative functions including the development and reporting of key performance requirements to senior management.

SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
Essential
All nurses must have the following minimum requirements:
• Must have a minimum of 2 years Emergency Room experience.
• Must be able to show evidence of emergency skills training and competence.
• Must be CPR & First Aid certified.
• Independent work experience in an industrial setting is a significant advantage.
• Good English language skills.
• Spoken Arabic desirable
CERTIFICATIONS / REGISTRATIONS:
The candidate must have the following certification:
• Must be a Registered Nurse from an approved School of Nursing (3 or 4 year basic course)
