The RoleThe RoleResponsible for student health education and providing initial medical assessments as needed for the sick or afflicted and appropriately following up with needed actions and activities. Duties and Responsibilities include: * Provide timely and appropriate medical help to students. * Conduct preliminary tests like BP / blood test for diabetes, etc. * Co-ordinate with Hospitals to refer complicated & emergency cases and follow up their progress. * Co-ordinate with Procurement Department to get medicines for the clinic. * Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the clinic to provide hygienic and clean environment. * Maintain patients’ files detailing medical history. * Prepare monthly reports detailing number of cases handled and number of emergencies referred to the Hospitals. * Assist students and staff at the weekends and during holiday periods, as required. * Up-date skills by regularly attending training sessions/workshops. * Provide health awareness workshops and programs for students and staff. |
RequirementsRequirements* Bachelor Degree in Nursing. * License for Nursing from Abu Dhabi Health Authority * 3-5 years related experience. * Ability to deal with medical emergencies, ability to provide medical support to patients, working knowledge of medicine. * Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to remain calm and handle medical emergencies efficiently, good presentation skills |
