The RoleThe RoleThe Nursery Manager is responsible for the on site nursery to support the landscape construction division. The Nursery Manager will be responsible for: Managing the supply and demand of trees, shrubs, flowers and ornamental plants. Supervising and training staff on basic gardening and planting activities, tools, and disease control. Performing routine quality check in term of touring areas to observe the quality of the products to reduce any diseases. Monitoring the purchasing of all stocks for the nursery in regards to machinery, tools and equipment. Other assigned duties as related to nursery management. |
RequirementsRequirementsAt least 5 years experience at a supervisory level for the overseeing of a large scale nursery Diploma or Degree in horticulture Ability to manage skilled and unskilled workers. Must be able to product quality status reports Ability to adequately plan for multiple projects |
