Job description / Role
Allen & York Middle East have been mandated to recruit an Emirati O&G Financial Analyst to be based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is a leading international energy company. The role offers exceptional career opportunities and attractive personal development options.
Starting date ASAP.
The candidate will be in charge of compiling and reviewing O&G budgets, forecasts and strategic plans.
He/she will be responsible for running and maintaining the company's financial models, will provide in-depth analysis of main performance KPI's and present the findings to senior management and Board on quarterly and yearly basis.
The O&G Financial Analyst will report directly to the Head of Strategic Planning.
Key activities will include:
Manage the annual O&G budget and 5 years plan in collaboration with O&G CFO
Take active role in annual CAPEX allocation through Capital Ranking
Determine and streamline finance processes, standards and reporting templates for the O&G subsidiary
Participate in O&G strategic options and portfolio management decisions
Generate required documents for external reporting
Consolidate O&G budget with group budget
Provide quarterly forecasts
Work closely with IT to develop new Finance and Planning reporting solutions
Requirements
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should:
be an Emirati national (mandatory)
possess a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or business
have 5 years of relevant experience
have hands-on experience with in financial computer applications (SAP FI/CO or BI, Oracle Hyperion) (mandatory)
have an affinity with upstream O&G
Compensation & Benefits:
Very attractive package negotiable according to experience
Bonus potential up to 25%.
