Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Ensure on-time tickets resolution by close coordination with contractors, NOC, B-Care, Engineering and other various ITC departments and ensure regular update of records of all OSP activities.
- Lead OSP teams/contractors for corrective and periodic preventive maintenance for OSP networks.
- Manage acceptance & handover activities related to new network elements (i.e. ducts, civil & cables) along with implementation & vendors team.
- Track the spares stock & ensure that ordering process is triggered once the stock level goes below a certain minimum stock level.
- Lead Frame Agreements (FA) process, ensure contractors do fulfill their obligations as per the terms & conditions of the FA.
- Develop & enhance processes, procedures and work instructions related to OSP/ISP O&M.
- Manage OSP team, evaluate their performance and enhance the performance level by promoting team work and proper management of daily activities.
- Staff development, knowledge transfer and training.

Requirements

- BSc. in Communications / Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Management skills and ability to lead teams and activities
- Excellent contractor management skills
- Excellent Communication skills in English language
- A minimum of 6 years experience in the fiber optic cabling business/environment/including testing
- Advanced knowledge of the planning, design and engineering of OSP fiber optic networks.
- Knowledge of the standards, materials, techniques and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of OSP fiber optic facilities
- Knowledge of fiber optic transmission
- Knowledge of policies and procedures and relevant laws and regulations
