Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

?Evaluates Design Subcontractors according to the fixed Scope of Work and project goals.
Complies with the design processes and the defined time schedule.
Responsible for all aspects of the Permit Drawings, Construction Drawings, Soils Reports, Land Surveys, all drawing review and approval procedures, acceptance of deliverable products and interaction will all departments.
Strong understanding of Subcontractors contractual obligations and Scope of Work.
Works closely with the Design Manager to establish project designs and requirements.
Works closely with the Site Acquisition & Permits Manager to establish permit drawing requirements as set forth by the local permitting agencies.
Advance planning with all departments to best initiate drawing processes.
Obtain Customer Design Approvals/Type Approvals if needed by the Project
Responsible for reporting all site related problems, potential delays and extreme circumstances in the database and to the Site Acquisition and Permit Dept.
Collects drawings documentation and As-built drawings from Construction Supervisors.
Monitors and reports the status for each allocated site and for continuous updates of the database.

Requirements

Three (3) years experience in telecommunications / OSP project management & GIS.
PMP and/or Prince2 Certified.
Strong decision-making and management skills.
Extensive knowledge of OSP Design specifically to Fiber Architecture and Design Requirements in relationship to FTTX and Copper deployment of Triple Play services within STC environment and processes
Knowledgeable in the permitting process for Country, city and districts Baladiyah
Extensive knowledge of local cable facilities and fiber networks
Possess understanding of Outside Plant communications cabling/records
Have broad knowledge of OSP right of way infrastructure requirements and facets.
Familiar with all facets of OSP FTTX and Copper deployment.
Ability to have a self-confident and firm stand towards Management Staff and Subcontractors.
Proven ability to deal with a variety of 3PV / subcontractors to monitor, evaluate and control their performance.
