Job description / Role
My client, a top systems integrator multinational, is looking to hire a Project Manager for a project with telecommunications
Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support customer business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Plan and schedule project tasks, timelines, milestones and deliverables using project management tools
Continually track project tasks, milestones and deliverables
Distribute Project Status Reports communicating progress to plans, budget to actuals and potential problem areas including recommended resolution steps
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Proactively manage changes in project scope
Conduct project post mortem sessions
Requirements
5 years experience in project management with a telecommunication/political background
Strong knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies
Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills
PMP Certified candidates preferred
Bilingual in English and Arabic
