Ob/gyn Infertility Nurse

Job description / Role

Registered nurse (ob/gyn-infertility)

•Performs a range of clerical duties that support the operations of the unit
•Collecting patients data and preparing charts
•Responsible for all charts, making sure all consents are signed and required forms and documents available
•Responsible to check that all charts are complete with doctors notes, stamps and signatures as well as nurses notes before filling
•Acts as unit receptionist greeting and directing visitors
•Assists in the ordering, receipt and storage of supplies
•Assembles patient charts
•Making inventories and replacement of supplies
•Answers unit telephone, transferring calls, and taking and forwarding messages.
•Serves as an important link in the communication chain ensuring information is transmitted between nursing personnel, other hospital personnel, physicians, patients, family members and other guests.
•Assists in entering patient information in Baby centry computer system.
•Prepare patients and assist the doctors
•Document all charts with relevant information
•Maintains nursing station in neat and orderly manner.
•Coordinate between the outpatient unit and the Inpatient unit
•Check patients room condition
•Supporting patients through their fertility treatment in a gentle and patient manner maintaining continuity of care and support throughout their journey
•To enter patient information and treatment cycles on the clinic’s patient information system
•Follow-up of insurance approval
•Participates in administration and organization of the assisted conception programs
•Provides nursing care, support and advice to fertility patients
•To prepare for and assist with the smooth running of the clinic ensuring a high standard of nursing care
•scheduling of patient treatment cycles, assisting them with prescriptions and drug administration, blood withdrawal
•Reporting to doctors and follow-up of results
•Assist in consultation and ultrasound

Requirements

Previous experience : 3 years plus as an Ob/gyn nurse in a hospital / clinic
Ideal Age Range : 27 to 35
Gender Preference : Female
Nationality Preference: Lebanese
Language Skills : Arabic, English
Current Residence : Lebanon / UAE
