The RoleThe RoleTo assist management to maintain highest standards of health and safety in their respective areas by conducting regular work place inspections, H & S related training, Safety drills and providing feedback and follow up actions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular workplace inspections as agreed schedules, Complete reports and submit them on time. - Inspect contractor activities in respective areas in order to ensure that such contractors are complying to Almarai safety standards. - Inspect Permit to work sites and providing guidance in order to ensure that activities are conducted safely. - Inspect Personal protective equipments / Fall arrest equipment monthly basis and provide status reports to sectional managers. - Conduct bahavioral safety audits as per agreed schedules. - Follow up Risk Assessment next steps in order to complete them on time - Conduct regular Health and safety refresher training programs as directed by sectional managers. - Update H & S notice boards in order to ensure correct & necessary informations available in notice boards. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualifications: - Degree or diploma in related discipline. - Experience in Safety Inspection in FMCG environment. - Exposures in best practices in health and safety standards such as outlined by UK HSE code of practice. - Excellent in English language both verbal and written. - Good verbal and comprehension in Arabic language - Able to conduct H&S training. - Self motivated, dynamic, hard working and good interpersonal skills - Good operational knowledge in Dairy filling machines and other applications - Must able to understand the Man- machine interface in different processes - With knowledge in Risk Assessment Process - Good knowledge in Industrial Forklift trucks and load moving equipments - Good knowledge in handling hazardous substances - Must able to communicate and lead multi task work groups on health and safety aspects - Must able to conduct Health and safety awareness programs - Must able to carry out Inspection & Audits - Able to manage diverse work environment and people, promote Health and Safety culture. |
