Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Promote the company’s high end office furniture throughout KSA;
Gain a solid understanding of the KSA office furniture market;
Identify/develop opportunities and support dealers in obtaining orders on behalf of the company;
Win business against a sales target for products within the commercial sector;
Timetable and gain support in seminar activity throughout KSA;
Involve specialist sales and design resources where relevant against specific opportunities;
Provide accurate forecasting information for total volume sales by product group and detailed information on specific large projects;
Maintain good working relationships with dealer personnel maintaining competence and commitment to company products;
Continuously educate the dealers and guide them towards lucrative market opportunities;
Provide field training for dealer sales personnel in product and positional skills;
To identify appropriate new dealers and develop these opportunities;
Participate in induction training for new personnel and new product training;
To canvas business opportunities in person - identify, qualify and develop;
To justify and compete for marketing resources where required.

Requirements

Middle East experience essential
Fluent in Arabic advantageous
Western educated preferred
Based in Dubai with frequent travel to KSA

* Business Degree or professional equivalent preferred;
* Successful business development experience of at least 5 years, with a background in interiors;
* Experience of working for a multinational organisation;
* Ability to effectively interact at all levels with decision makers for commercial properties;
* Must enjoy team work, but also be self-motivated and able to work alone and be self-sufficient;
* Astute, visionary and a person of action;
* Target and result oriented;
* Significant leadership skills with natural authority and positive charisma;
* Must be flexible to work long hours when required and be able to undertake considerable travel throughout KSA and other Gulf regions without restriction;
* Must be highly literate in the use of IT systems;
* Must be numerate in the preparation of financial and forecast information;
* Must be culturally aware;
* Strong interpersonal skills.
