Employment: Full Time

Our client is a Government company who are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager for their offices in Dubai. They pride themselves on having proactive, passionate employees working within their superb infrastructure.

The role will predominately involve being responsible for organising and coordinating all of the office operations and procedures in order to ensure the smooth day-to- day running of the office. Essential duties of this role will also include:
• Maintaining all aspects of office administration, such as organizing office inventory and ensuring all office equipment is working correctly (copier, scanner, fax machine)
• Obtaining cost estimates from vendors for any necessary office equipment and liaising with the finance team to organise all payments relating to the office, including utility bills.
• Providing secretarial services for the team and assisting them with drafting letters, preparing documents and organizing presentations.
• Liaising with HR to implement and maintain staff records, recruitment processes, policies and any training coordination for staff.
• Conducting regular visits to governmental departments to organise visas for staff
The role of the office manager is to ensure the organisational effectiveness and efficiency within the office. Additional responsibilities such as assisting HR, Finance and the Managing Director will be expected in the position.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of five years relevant experience in an office management role. My client is seeking an Arabic speaking candidate who possesses excellent communication and people skills, and is extremely well organised. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter, who uses their initiative in difficult situations and demonstrates the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Candidates must display a professional appearance and manner at all times and be well versed in all MS Office publications.
