Edge Resourcing is an established Recruitment Consultancy which has been operating in the United Arab Emirates since 2008. We have a hard working team of specialist Consultants, each of whom have experience of working in and a sound knowledge of the local market place. We specialize in the Retail and Education Sectors and due to a period of sustained growth we are looking to hire an Office Manager.

The Office Manager will need to be able to get involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the business. The role will require a highly organized person who doesnt mind rolling their sleeves up. There will be the opportunity to grow an Administration team in the future.

The role duties are diverse and many, however a few of the typical duties are below:

Office Management:
- Full Management of the day to day running of the Office including contracts with suppliers, lease agreements, purchasing furniture and equipment etc.
- Assist in setting up the office, ensuring there is sufficient space, equipment and supplies for the team as its numbers increase.
- PRO related activities including visas, renewal of license etc.
- General office administration.
- Social Media updating Twitter and creating other Social Media opportunities.
- Opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in marketing tasks.
- Handling of basic training for new consultants joining the company.
- Training new staff on company policy and databases etc.
- Take ownership of office systems and processes.
- Ensure all freelancers and recruits are fully conversant in those systems and processes.
- Update all systems with details of new staff members (HR database, IT/log-in systems, the phone list, payroll and organisation chart).
- Manage the onboarding programme for new people.
- Maintain membership details for the company healthcare scheme.

Administration:
- Act as the Directors Personal Executive in all business related matters.
- Liaise with clients as required.
- Keeping up to date Accounts.
- Submission of Consultant expenses, commissions etc.
- Writing and proof reading proofing adverts.
- Administration of candidate registration packs.
- Couriering of documents.
- Raising invoices and banking cheques.
- Creating weekly reports for the Director.
- Planning and booking travel requirements.
- Ensure Supply Teacher timesheets, invoices and payments are made.
- Keep a record of holiday, sick leave etc.
- Create, plan and implement office initiatives that lead to positive office morale, i.e. parties, outings, off-sites etc.
- Coordinate as needed with IT support.
- Set up and coordinate meetings, including arranging refreshments, preparing any documents and taking meeting notes if required.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required or as the role develops.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in the UAE and be able to handle a very busy and diverse work load. Our office is a very fun, outgoing environment and the incumbent will need to fit in the culture.

It is essential that you can multi task, be adaptable and have very good Mathematics and English skills.
