Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective:
An opportunity has arisen for an Office Manager in our office in Muscat, Oman. This individual would be responsible for monitoring the efficiency and reliability of administrative duties and procedures within the Oman Office.

Main Responsibilities:
- Acts as primary point of contact for main support departments i.e. HR/Finance/Marketing/IT and performs basic tasks relating to these areas in line with the office’s requirements.
- Stores, adapts and distributes information within the office.
- Oversees document management processes/facilities management in the office.
- Oversee the reception and switchboard desk.
- Managing office assistant/driver.
- Dealing with deliveries, couriers, and other ad hoc matters.
- Liaising and coordination with other Al Tamimi offices as necessary as well as Government Departments.

As the office grows, the Office Manager’s duties will include:
- Planning secretarial work flows and offering leadership to the Secretarial/Administrative team.
- Managing support staff employees within the office ensuring that they are regularly appraised and fully trained in relation to their duties.
- Managing, supporting and training other admin/secretarial staff and report to senior management
- Overseeing basic office performance on debtors management/collections

Salary : Circa OMR 800

Requirements

Previous Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years within a similar role
- Must be an English & Arabic speaker
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent diploma

Specialist Knowledge:
- Oman experience – experience in dealing with Government departments
- Good PC skills – audio typing, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word

Other Skills:
- Self-motivated individual
- Pays attention to detail
