Employment: Full Time

This is a well-known global services company and has fifty staff based in the MENA head office with plans to double in size over the next two years.

The role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the back-office which covers Legal, HR, Accounts, IT, Marketing and Administration. It includes managing, organizing and coordinating all administrative activities to facilitate the smooth running and function of the branch and to ensure work is executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner. This role also involves managing the support staff Receptionist, Office Administrator, Credit Controller and Office Cleaner.

As part of the Management team, key responsibilities are to act as the link to HR, Legal, Marketing, Finance and IT support in the UK, to deliver agreed actions on the ground in agreement with the MENA Operational Director and to act as a business partner to the Operations Director advising on issues and areas to improve process and efficiency

Additionally the role works alongside the operational managers to deliver the business strategy and objectives, by working in partnership with business areas in providing an outstanding HR service that is customer focused and drives improved organizational performance.

Requirements

The successful individual will demonstrate strong people management and leadership skills in driving people processes and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Communication and relationship building skills would need to be highly effective with the ability to organize, inspire, motivate and lead initiatives through diverse teams. To be successful the individual will show an enthusiasm to share, develop, coach and mentor and will have a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication and follow through. Strong business acumen, strategy planning and motivation are key for this role.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable to effectively work and communicate at all levels, with multiple stakeholders of varied backgrounds, nationalities and cultures, from senior management to trainee consultants. Personal authenticity is a must.

Knowledge of the MENA region is an absolute must and a minimum of five years working experience as an Office Manager preferably within an Executive Search, recruitment or services company. Working hours are 8-4.30. Salary will be commensurate with experience but is also supported by yearly flight allowance, very attractive medical policy for self and partner plus bonus.
