Job description / Role
Parsons Brinckerhoff is assisting Qatar Rail’s multibillion planned works to integrate a 4-line 100-station metro, high-speed passenger rail, freight, a people mover and light rail, which once delivered will provide a fast, convenient, world-class, fully integrated railway system for the State of Qatar.
Due to this we are currently looking to recruit an Office/Administration Manager to join our team in Doha. .
Responsibilities:
Attend to Project Directors and Area Delivery Managers requirements
Manage and maintain all project administration requirements
Manage & ensure effectiveness of administration staff
Interact with other PB offices across the MENA region
Maintain Leave applications and records - calculate, obtain approvals and send to corporate HR.
Ensure sick leave applications are completed / approved and sent to corporate HR.
Ensure the office is running efficiently at all times
Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Essential
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written both in English and Arabic preferred
• Able to interact with people at all levels and nationalities
• 5 years experience within a similar capacity
Preferred
• Admin skills in infrastructure / construction industry and project management
• Degree Business Administration
• Currently living in Qatar and have knowledge of how businesses operate in the Middle East
• Fluent in both English and Arabic
