Officer - Investment & Treasury Operations

Job description / Role

The core function is to assist in the processing and maintenance of all Treasury & Investment Deals initiated by the Investment Banking Group and managing related accounts and documentation.

Key Accountabilities also include:
- Checking, processing and executing all Treasury & Investment deals in the system.
- Monitoring of income/returns for the Investment deals and related accounting.
- Providing support to Branches and Customers by processing related Investment transactions, in the system.
- Monitoring and reconciliation of outstanding amounts in nostros and suspense accounts, all accounts related to Investment & Fund operations in the system, as well as with the external Asset Management companies.
- Monitoring revaluations for various debt/equity or funds investments and preparing related accounting entries.
- Keeping record/follow ups and monitoring of cash flows in/out related to investment deals and reporting delays.
- Checking and monitoring of related Payments (MT 202 & Central Bank Payments).
- Checking and monitoring of incoming and outgoing Deal Confirmations.
- Control and monitoring of Nostro Accounts.
- Checking and verifying of Receipts & Payments of Foreign Currencies.
- Monitoring checking of Supporting Documents related to Treasury & Investment deals.
- Preparing and checking of MIS Reports (Assets/Liabilities/,Customers Total Deposits & FX Profit/Loss of all branches).
- Preparation of Reports for UAE Central Bank.
- Monitoring of External Audit confirmations.
- Maintaining and monitoring customer FX position for Customer FX Investments.

Requirements

- Should fully comprehend and be able to calculate the NAV of Funds and prepare the financial accounting entries.
- Excellent IT skills, good analytical and numerical ability essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
