Officer - Supply Chain - Boots - UAE

The Role:
You will control the flow of Boots branded merchandise into Boots GCC warehouses, operating within stockholding targets and ensuring the availability of products at all sites. You will also keep accurate records in order to ensure that the business knows where its stock is at any given time.

Your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Maintaining stock and on order information
* Keeping accurate records of market sales data by line
* Preparing allocation volumes for markets from Logix and agreeing volumes with Ops teams
* Placing orders based on forecast stock levels and ensuring that these orders are calculated accurately and cost-effectively
* Ordering products and tracking distribution to all Alshaya Markets for warehouse replenishment
* Ensuring accurate stock data (sales, inventory and intake) is maintained
* Reviewing and making recommendations for change in all processes regarding the specific department to improve contribution to the Business
* Acting as an ambassador for the department and the company at all times.

Requirements

* 2-4 years' retail experience in a store, logistics or office environment
* An amiable & outgoing personality
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ready and able to work under pressure.

Experience of using spreadsheets and other PC based packages is essential.
