Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Omanisation –
• Manage the recruitment of Omani Nationals as per the BU hiring plan.
• Train and Retain Omani’s on key positions and develop strategies for their retention.
• Participate in Career fairs in universities in Oman to attract Omani talent.
Government Relations -
• Responsible for governing the renewal of company licenses, and corresponding with key stake holders for the action.
• Acts as the diplomatic representative in managing government stakeholders.
• Support the managers in managing work force issue, building trust and executing company policies in a professional manner.
• Pro-actively manages manpower and labour court disputes, and challenges accordingly.
• Act as a key focal point for all governmental and employee related issues for all branches.
• Responsible for all Environmental and Industrial permits.
• Able to conduct domestic inquiry and handle legal mattes that include representing the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Liaison with internal and external legal providers to achieve successful agreements.
• Provide advice on complex ER issues.
• You will be a champion on all ER knowledge understanding changes and implementing them with the organization.
• Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Adjusting actions in relation to other’s actions.
• Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Provide advice or counsel employees, mediate disputes and manage conflicts.
• Working closely with the management team on key organizational projects with governmental parties and stakeholders involvement,.
• Drive localization initiatives and building company image externally.
• Supporting when needed to source key position in line with needs

Requirements

Min Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
Min Experience
• 3-4 years of experience in the similar role.
Job-Specific Skills
• Expert in Omanization.
• Working knowledge of recruitment and retention framework.
