Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Operate and maintain On-Stream Analyzers to ensure continuous delivery of the OSAs measurements with stipulated quality requirements as requested by various sectors.
2. Inspect, test, adjust, and repair OSAs electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic components in the field.
3. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical and process drawings, and specifications in making installations or performing repair work. Make estimates of labor, materials, and supplies as necessary for the performance of specific assignments.
4. Check that all Certification requirements are satisfied by the OSA sectors.
5. Provide technical support to the safety department in the management of the maintenance contract of the gas and HC detectors. Ensure that the OSAs workshop has enough spare parts at all times.
6. Apply and comply with Refinery Standards established in the area of health, safety, environment and protection while working in the various Refinery Areas where OSAs are installed, and inside the lab as well, focusing mainly on pro-active Loss Prevention.
7. Maintain adequate housekeeping, identify and eliminate unsafe conditions, strictly follow the work permit procedures and the correct disposal of wastes.
8. Strictly follow and correctly use all appropriate OSAs operational procedures.
9. Participate in the safety programs set in the basis of ISRS.
10. Strictly comply with environmental and quality procedures and adhere to established programs for the reduction of waste production, harmful emissions and the proper disposal of wastes.
11. Strictly follow the work permit and communication procedures in dealing with the Plants Shift Supervisors.
12. Work very consciously to avoid all incidents/accidents where OSAs are concerned.
13. Report to the Supervisor On-Stream Analyzers any unusual OSA operational or maintenance problems/ activities in a timely manner.
14. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor On-Stream Analyzers.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of OSA instrumentation.
- Strong knowledge in of installation, commissioning, modification, FAT, SAT, Calibration, Validation, Operation Acceptance Test, Quality programs, repair and maintenance, spare parts inventory and warehousing of OSA and Sample Handling Systems in a refining or petrochemical area.
- Strong technical knowledge in OSA operation, maintenance and continuous quality improvement programs.
- Good knowledge of various measurement and analysis methodologies and tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical and process drawings.
- Good knowledge of relevant metrological devices such as tanks, measuring devices and weight bridges.
- Good knowledge of Refining economics and petroleum industry.
