The RoleThe RolePurpose of the job: The successful applicant is responsible for strengthening the SGE online marketing practice with special emphasis on activities related to HHP (hand held phone) products. The position has been created to offer a centre of excellence to the SGE marketing community so that all online activities can be better integrated across divisions and campaigns to reach a higher level of effectiveness. Key Objectives: *Increase BAS Preference KPIs and exceed Samsung global averages *By working closely with all SGE divisions and agencies, maximize the impact of digital media on target audiences *Establish Samsung as a best social media practice in the region *Emotionally engage target segments with proactive use innovative activities in the digital space Position Responsibilities: *Reporting directly to Head Of Media *Create online marketing and promotion strategies for Corporate and product campaigns *Measure and analyze campaign performance and provide insights and Work with the MI manager to evaluate effectiveness of digital media usage *Closely work with all Samsung divisions (Corporate, AV, IT, HHP, HA) to effectively integrate the online communication vehicles in the marketing communications plans *Apply knowledge of online communities in U.A.E., Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen *Provide social media recommendations, establish SM activation, and analyze programs results to ensure that it meets company's objectives *Maximize impact of digital media on target segments *Work with all divisions to ensure all campaign optimally leverage the digital space in the IMC campaigns *Proactively use viral marketing whenever appropriate |
RequirementsRequirementsQualifications *Bachelor in Marketing or relevant disciplines *Creative marketing skills are a must. Technical expertise of digital media is required *2-3 years of experience in an FMCG company with online marketing responsibilities. *Familiar with the GCC local cultures *Knowledge in Arabic language is an advantage *Ability to perform and work under different conditions and a team player *Good networking with the local industry *Self starter being able to work under minimum supervision • Language Skills: Fluent in English and Arabic Valued but not required skills and experience: *Innate curiosity and aptitude, staying abreast of trends and activities in the digital marketing business space *Expertise in creative ways to use digital media to capture the attention of target audiences and emotionally engage them *Excellent communications (written/verbal), presentation and analytical skills |
