Exciting career opportunity for an Operating Finance Manager to be based in Qatar working for leading Technical Services provider (Testing Laboratories).
Role description
Based in Qatar, the Operating Finance Manager will be responsible for commercial support to the General Manager of the laboratory/business working closely with the GM, prepare credible financial forecasts, budgets, full-fill statutory accounting obligations, applying controls in the management of the business. Furthermore, as the Operating Finance Manager you will also improve processes for efficient transaction processing working with the shared services team and controls and manage the credit control process in the laboratory / business, full fill the country direct and indirect tax obligations.
Requirements
Who we're looking for
The Operating Finance Manager needs to have the below skills and expertise:
• Accounting / finance professional with 3 to 5 years in a similar position in an Anglo Saxon company
• Previous experience working with a Technical Services company is a real advantage
• Western Educated
• Candidates currently based in Qatar will be given a higher priority
• Working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
• International certifications (CPA, CA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA) is a must
