To assist the Operations Manager in the operations department at the MCC to ensure the quality of the operations is of a world class standard.

Key Tasks:
Under the direction from the Operations Manager, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operations at the MCC with world class standards. The position is to be the Managements eyes and ears in the centre. It is expected that 75% of the time of the Operations Coordinator will be spent outside the office monitoring the standards of the interior and exterior of the project. A very hands on operational role with areas of responsibility being:

Duties-Operations Specific
- Monitor and control tenant deliveries.
- Under the supervision of the Operations Manager ensure the exterior of the MCC remains in top condition at all times. Issues include maintaining proper signage standards, seasonal landscaping, staff parking procedures, traffic management system, exterior maintenance, scheduling of contract services and lighting of the exterior of the Mall.
- To ensure the interior of the Mall remains in top condition at all times. Issues include cleaning, washroom maintenance, periodic garbage collection, tenant and promotional signage, temporary display coordination, staff uniforms, staff training, maintaining proper inventory levels, defining equipment requirements.
- To conduct periodic formal inspections of the Mall noting items requiring short or long term repair or changes.
- To ensure Security and Safety of the Entire Mall during night hours
- To ensure all staff are working at the required places and as per the schedule
- To have an audit for the staff and the cleanliness of the mall.

Specific Duties-Administration
- To produce all weekly/monthly reports required by the operation using Excel and Word documents.
- Produce spreadsheets for analysis when required by the operation.
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure proper communication between all departments. .

Specific Duties-Financial
- Assist in the monitoring and control of the budget on a daily basis to meet or achieve the financial objectives of the operation.
- Assist in preparing the operating portions of the expense budget on an annual basis.
- To control, monitor the operating expenditures on a daily basis to ensure the financial objectives of the operation are met, or exceeded on an annual basis.
- To assist the operations manager in compiling an R&M capital plan on an annual basis for annual budget.

General Scope
- The coordinator is a very hands-on roll and the job may be required to work shifts covering 24 hours a day.
- To conduct and document daily inspections of the interior and exterior of the property reporting back to the Operations Manager. Specific attention on cleanliness, maintenance and staff utilization.
- To coordinate with the traffic management team ensuring ramps, exterior roads and car parks have minimal traffic delays entering and exiting the property.
- To coordinate with the Security Senior Supervisor to ensure the delivery docks are kept clean and truck deliveries are coordinated.
- To ensure landscaping maintenance is being carried out in accordance to the contract.
- Coordinate with the cleaning contractors including high level ensuring all areas of the property are cleaned in accordance with the contracts.
- To assist in providing a detailed operating budget with back up documentation.
- To follow up on Project works and provide full assistance to project team.

Complexity:
- To assist and oversee a broad scope of tasks involved in the operation.
- To assist in monitoring the performance of the contractors

Requirements

- Computer literate
- English speaking.
- Technical Background s preferred
- Good communicator
- Able to work under pressure
- Team player.
- To work in shifts (night duty if required)
