Operation Manager-Content - eCommerce - Kuwait

eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 70+ brands and 19 countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers' choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

As a Content Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering all new brand prioritised content features assigned to the central team, drive overall information architecture to fit to each brand or as a core feature to all brand and advice on best practice online content guidelines and train brand teams as and if required.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking full ownership of all site content & information architecture on Alshaya's host brand websites and ensuring that we always deliver an excellent customer experience on all of our brand/market sites
* Managing business implementation of web content for various simultaneous projects whilst setting quality assurance standards and best practices
* Driving content template improvements for tactical landing pages and promotion pages in support of campaign activities
* Providing out of hours support remotely as required by the demands of the business
* Creating and evaluating web content/production trends and research new technologies, and tools to help the Company minimise expense and manage overall costs.
* Creating policies and procedures specific to the department in order to increase efficiency and achieve operational objectives
* Communicating brand standards to web content executives as required, and approving content usage to comply with Alshaya standards on all published materials.

The role is ideal for a candidate who can handle the challenge of supporting all areas of online content management, including: promotions, web analytics, writing and editing for the web, digital trends, applications including social media platforms, content management systems, and image-editing software. You will also use your time management skills to balance working on development projects with the Alshaya E-group team, external agencies and suppliers, managing the timelines and deliverables for each.

Requirements

* Educated to degree level
* 2 or more years web content management ideally on transactional websites
* Experience in Adobe suite, CRM software and ftp.
* Strong presentation skills.

Bilingual candidates only - should be fluent in both English & Arabic.
