JOB PURPOSE:
To deliver AFM's mission by providing Health Security, Safety and Environmental advice to AFM's associates and managers as required, to enable them to undertake their health and safety and environmental responsibilities at all sites.
The incumbent will develop and deliver H&S and Environmental training based on a best practice model. The role will involve continuous dialogue with LMs across the business in order enhance the quality and compliance across the AFM.

Description

* Support HSSE Managers and Head of HSSE, develop and maintain AFM's overall Health & Safety policies, procedures and training programs
* Working with HSSE Managers, to enable good health and safety practices to be delivered throughout AFM's operations.
* Provide ad hoc advice to AFM associates and managers as requested. Produce guidance documentation and training programs to assist in this role.
* Undertake departmental audits and accident/incident investigations as directed by the HSSE Managers.
* Develop and maintain health and safety performance measures, reports and monitoring processes as directed, aimed at providing effective tracking of health and safety performance and standards against legislation and good practice.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining HSSE training records of all AFM's staff and creating a H&S training identifying HSSE competency requirement and current standard for each department/section in support of AFM  H&S policies and standards.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree / Overall 5 yrs. working experience / NEBOSH desirable

Job-Specific Skills:
* Analytical/Numerical/Presentation
* PC Competency/Computer Knowledge
* Arabic language skills and UAE experience is advantageous.
