Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To control the entire UMA operation to ensure proper customer service with minimum misuse, delay and vehicle down time.
- Develop, recommend and implement Marketing plan to develop business.
- To set sales target and measure its achievement.
- Budget planning for Spot
- Develop marketing strategies for seasonal, promotional sales and development of new business area.
- Identify and analyze the organizational strength and weakness and respond, change our strategies to compete with the present market trends.
- Identify and establish new corporate and key customers.
- Develop & promulgate the prices for spot.
- Proper planning of spot fleet to achieve maximum utilisation.
- To recommend changes in the fleet mix up with the day to day requirements.
- Daily monitoring the utilisation, delay cases vehicle down time and follow up with other departments.
- To develop spot sales marketing and operation policy.
- Establish proper reporting system within operation department throughout the Kingdom.

Requirements

- To evaluate and approve the new vehicle purchase orders.
- To check and minimise all sorts of misuse, delay and losses and issues instructions and policy time to time to achieve this.
- Approve transfer of vehicles to meet the operational requirement.
- To approve the incentive
- To introduce UMA as one of the largest car leasing and renting company.
- Personal & Admin
- Evaluation and Appraisal of Operation staff
- Recommend promotion, rewards and punishment
- Recruitment and Termination of operational staff in coordination with Admin department.
- Issuing of commendation and warning letters as required

The General Machinery Agencies Company established by the late Sheikh Salahudin Abduljawad was the second company to be awarded a GM franchise eight years later.
