Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for operating the electrical system in more efficient and reliable way.

To see that the control room Operators maintain the system frequency and voltages within the prescribed limits for safe operation of the system.

To arrange for shut down and start up of Generating Plant when required to meet the expected load Demand

To arrange for all switching operations on the Electrical systems being monitored by NCC/DCC and coordinate such works with DCCs and Power Stations due to operation and maintenance

Preparation of all network drawings

Preparation of all operational reports

Requirements

Requirements:

Power Engineer experienced in Power System Operation for at least 25 years out if which at least 10 years in a responsible position as an operation engineer for a larger Network

Should have thorough knowledge of operational criteria under normal and abnormal system conditions
