Al-Futtaim Logistics is a leading Supply Chain Management company in Dubai, UAE, with our major shareholder being one of the largest business houses in the lower Gulf region. Al-Futtaim logistics, started as a small warehouse for Al-Futtaim products about 25 years ago, and has developed over the years into one of the largest logistics service providers in the UAE. We have nearly 500 people on our diverse team from 20 different countries.
We offer superior pan-Arab supply chain management solutions including warehousing and distribution, freight forwarding as well as IT solutions and Supply Chain Design and Consulting. The company has an international network of offices and agents for overseas freight and warehousing and distribution centres in all major UAE cities and ports.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Operational Account Manager to join our Al Futtaim Logistics team. Reporting to the General Manager Freight, your key responsibility will be to build customer loyalty and develop advocates within our strategic accounts.
Your duties will include:
* Proactively conduct account review with all assigned accounts monthly to revise service requirements and trend changes
* Conduct pricing reviews to ensure adaption of market level rating schedule
* Promote organic growth opportunities within assigned accounts
* Implementation of best practice operational processes and procedures
* Management and motivation of operations team assigned to strategic accounts
* Monthly reporting on strategic accounts trends outlining growth opportunity analysis
Requirements
To be successfully considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
* Import and Export process knowledge
* 10 years freight forwarding experience
* Customer service oriented
* Strong analytical and decision making skills
* Leadership and Communication Skills
* Organisation and Planning Skills
* Fluent in English
