The Role


Main Purpose:
•Develop the knowledge and skills required of an Operational Analyst
•Collection of operational data, including the collation of information in support of the regular operational summary reports.
•Undertake analysis of operational data to determine operational performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Collection of operational data.
•Support the analysis of operational data to determine operational performance (this covers a wide range of operational data parameters that enable operational performance to be assessed for various types of delay, traffic throughput, productivity and efficiency)
•Work collaboratively with the Dubai Airports Operational Research team for capacity declaration and other projects as directed
•Completes assigned tasks within agreed timescales
•Contributes to the planning and reporting of technical tasks
•Develops and maintains operational analysis technical expertise
•Ensure compliance with the DANS SQMS.
•Demonstrate the DANS values ensuring excellence in service

Requirements


Requirements


UAE nationals only

Knowledge
•Educated to diploma/college level preferably within numerical field.

Skills
•A mature, proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and problem solving capability;
•Understanding of ATC operations
•Developing analytical skills that can be applied to routine analysis
•A general understanding of the use of statistical software packages
•Good presentation skills
•Good communication skills, both written and oral
•Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
•Computer literate – proficient in the use of MS Windows/Office and have excellent organisational skills

Experience
•Experience undertaking analysis within a workplace or educational environment is preferred
