Employment: Full Time

This position is a non-supervisory analytical position within the business operations area, providing operational performance and trending analysis for the various business operational functional areas and service delivery. This position creates/provides reports and analysis across non-financial, operational metrics. The Operations Reporting Analyst carries out in-depth analysis to support business activities and initiatives within the division as well as service delivery and operational performance to our Service Partners.

The position develops the operations business intelligence, analysis and reporting for the business operations team; including collecting and analyzing data to trend, measure and evaluate operational performance, trends, service level adherence, and service delivery difficulties.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role is responsible for building business intelligence, analysis and reporting business users’ access, analyze data in a data warehouse, data mart, or operational systems.
• Responsible for converting strategic Reports and Dashboards into actionable findings and recommendations to support tactical and strategic decision making.
• Responsible for performing analysis of historical data trends and drivers and will play a leading role in developing a framework to forecast future trends.
• Support development, delivery and management of operational reports and management dashboards
• Review daily, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports and provide key findings / highlights
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of a company’s business goals and operations
• Collaborate with other internal clients to support reporting needs and objectives
• Identify and implement reporting process improvement and automation initiatives
• Design, develop, and document reporting requirements, as defined by the business, to support the measurement, monitoring, and effectiveness of the business operations services and our Service Partner services;
• Leverage available data warehouse querying and reporting tools to create adhoc and standardized reports as required
• Produce accurate, timely and consistent reporting to operational areas to monitor, measure and support the delivery of services and operational performance
• Proactively interface with operational business managers and IT partners to meet reporting requirements; work closely with partners to investigate issues and resolve reporting discrepancies
• Create and maintain consistency in reporting across the organization where possible
• Analyze a wide range of reports and presentations used across the organization for accuracy and consistency
• Identify data process improvements and leverage technology to streamline existing reporting and performance measurement processes and criteria
• Develop scorecards and models to track and validate various key performance measurements
• Design, write, document and maintain data requests and/or queries

Requirements

3+ years of related experience including experience using statistics or other mathematical tools to answer business research/analysis questions.

Experience with operations analysis and business forecasting required. Finance, business operations and MIS background highly desirable (Operational performance analytics/reporting experience is strongly preferred)

Experience or ability to review and analyze current business processes along with systems and make recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements

Experience with Crystal Reports and supporting tools is a requirement Experience of of enterprise reporting and Business Intelligence systems highly desired i.e. Hyperion, Oracle Business Intelligence.

• Proven skills in mining and analyzing data to provide valuable insight (reporting) to management and operations, in regards to the results and/or telling the story
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, technical and analytic skills
• Sharp Analytical Skills to support, compile and report key information.
• Demonstrated skills with Analytics (read and interpret data)
• Sound judgment, problem solving skills and decision making abilities
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Comfortable using MS Excel VLOOKUP function, PivotTables, Data Connections and Formulas
• Experience with data mining tools and/or programming experience
• Knowledge of database environments - Oracle/ SQL Server.
• Strong, proven knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL language.
• Ability to make recommendations on tools and systems to enhance corporate operational data gathering and analysis
• Excellent time management skills and demonstrated written communication skills with the ability to write succinctly and persuasively.
• Prior experience in solving business-to-business problems is required
• Must have prior experience in using a trouble ticketing system
• Prior Experience in using tools to solve technical issues with Internet service is required
