Operational Auditor - HR Shared Services - Al-Futtaim - Muscat, Oman

As part of the audit team you will be responsible to conduct the internal audit activity of assigned business segment in order to examine and evaluate all business activities in respect of reliability and integrity of information, safeguarding of assets, economical and efficient use of resources, accomplishment of established objectives and compliance with policies, procedures, laws and regulations.

You will assist the audit manager to develop annual audit plan and conduct audit as per the plan; discuss, document and prepare reports of key findings and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations. You should be comfortable with conducting fraud investigation, if required, in order to identify the loss/exposure, control weaknesses, personnel responsible and suggest recommendations to prevent re-occurrence. You will be based in our Muscat office.

Requirements

To apply for this role you should be a member of a professional body of accounts (eg: CPA, ACA, CIA or ACMA) or be a partly qualified professional, with 4 - 6 years of Operational and Functional audit experience, preferably in an Automotive background.

The position requires strong analytical skills, high degree of tact, self-reliance, technical and management skills. Excellent oral and written communication, familiarity with computerised financial and opeartional systems, high level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and objectivity will help you to succeed in this role.
