Operational Auditor (3-4 year career program with international prospects)

A multinational company is now looking for a dynamic, team-oriented and highly motivated professionals with excellent qualifications and subject matter expertise to strengthen the Corporate Finance Audit organization.

As an Auditor within the Operational Audit Practice you will be part of an international and multidisciplinary audit team (integrated audits: Financial, IT & Compliance Audit), completing assignments across the companies global sectors and locations.

You will determine the root causes of critical issues, assess the level of impact on the business and prepare as well as participate in discussions with top management. The program strongly adheres to an advisory approach; you will therefore also help the business to put appropriate improvement plans in place.

In line with the Grow & Development Model, Auditors should have the ability to develop into a Audit Manager position within 3-4 years or into a comparable management position within the companies businesses.

Some of the responsibilities are:
- Plan and prepare the assigned Engagement tasks to ensure a baseline understanding of processes and controls prior to fieldwork.
- Perform the defined audit program steps in coordination with the Engagement Manager and other team members; identify applicable issues by combining the control procedures re-performance, examination of documents, observation of control being operated as well as inquiry and document findings to formulate recommended actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Engagement Manager by providing timely status updates and communicating observations and findings as well as Engagement risks and potential roadblocks. Further actively seek clarification on Engagement task requirements, processes, controls and technical matters if deemed necessary
- Perform a final review of all work papers, ensuring that all required tasks are completed, appropriately documented, feedback effectively implemented, and all issues and findings completely and accurately captured and can be proven by written documents.
- Participate in discussions with senior management

Requirements

- At least 4-6 years of professional experience within large multinational brands and/or related industries
- Strong past performance in academics (e.g.: engineering, IT, business or finance)
- The ideal candidate will have a double qualification and an MBA from a reputable educational institute a well as a degree in their respective specialism
- Intensive theoretical and practical experience in at least one of the following or similar areas: Product Lifecycle Management, Procurement, Logistics, Project Management, Commercial Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and or Strategy
- General Project Management expertise in a complex global organization
- Preference towards candidates that have worked in an international business setting and have experiences working and communicating with multiple cultures
- Strong desire and drive to develop into future leadership roles
- Commitment to continuous learning and education / development potential
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent in English and Arabic is a plus
