Employment: Full Time

With demand in our Power Networks sector continually growing we are looking to appoint Operational Risk Analyst
Job location: Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Operational Risk Analyst Responsible for the implementation of operational risk processes to ensure operational risk is in line with the agreed company level Risk.
Additionally, the Operational Risk Analyst will establish reporting processes to actively identify and manage trends and risks and work with colleagues in to ensure OR policy is implemented in line with the company Policy and promote and embed an operational risk culture within the organization.
Establish, maintain, communicate and oversee the Operation Risk policy and processes.
Proactively work with Department Heads to assess Operation Risk issues, perform trend analysis and make recommendations for intervention/improvement
Design and establish regularly Operation Risk reporting including collecting and analyzing loss and near miss event data
Follow Operation Risk processes at all times, consolidate updates and escalate where necessary
Promote and embed best practice of operational risk within the organization

Requirements

To have a degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Member/accredited by a professional body (e.g. Institute of Operational Risk)
Could have a professional accounting or audit qualification
Experience of working in an Operational Risk function within in a Utility company for at least 5 years.
Understanding and experience of complex systems
Understanding of the latest regulatory standards for operational risk.
