Job description / Role
- Assist in formulation and implementation of policies for effective operational risk management system
- Assist in measurement of operational risk capital charge as per various methodologies
- Follow up and collection of monthly Key Risk Indicators with various Divisions/ Departments and maintaining an up to date record in the ORMS system
- Assisting in undertaking of Risk Control Self-Assessment exercise and creation of risk register as well as updating assessment part in the ORMS system
- Loss data base- follow up & collection of loss data timely identification and recording of operational risk loss data and reasons thereof
- Updating ORMS solution from time to time and generating reports as and when required by the management
- Maintain and upkeep of records/ file pertaining to the activities undertaken in the department
- Assist in undertaking of training staff on the areas of operational risk management
- Address any other related matters from time to time
Requirements
- Oman National required
- Should be a degree holder in Finance with at least a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial bank
- Should have knowledge on banking process
- Should be able to plan, execute, and finalize the tasks assigned according to deadlines
- Should be self driven, innovative and dynamic
