Operations Coordinator,
Up to AED 13,000 per month,
Dubai, UAE

Our well established client is looking for an Operations Coordinator. As the Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for handling and coordinating all day-to-day operations. The job requires a methodical organized approach with extensive communication and attention to detail.

As the ideal candidate you must be excellent at ‘following through’ and have strong admin skills. Due to the nature of the industry, please only apply for this role if you are flexible especially on hours as you will often have to work late, multifunctional, have an interest /experience in small pets and equine as this is essential along with an administrative background.

Some responsibilities will include:

• Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and MD working in a small team
• Answering phone calls in conjunction with other staff
• Responding to Client/agent queries – costing to be checked by Accounts department or the Operations Manager.
• Checking that the rates provided are within historic rates and competitive when compared to other suppliers/agents/airlines always having a comparison and providing clients with options
• Coordination and communication with various organisations concerned eg. Airlines, Agents, Ministries, Suppliers etc.
• Update job registers and invoice registers as you go along and review weekly Job cards to be prepared for all jobs and all correspondence to be filed in respective job folders
• Keep the client informed with shipment details

Requirements

• Must currently reside in the UAE
• Western Educated
